So much is online, but the vast majority of marketing still takes place off line. We tend to look at both, and find some interesting articles out there. If you have some you&#8217;d like to share, please feel free.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Some things that popped up this time:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The obligatory <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mediapost.com\/publications\/article\/217514\/5-trends-that-will-affect-programmatic-marketing-i.html?edition=69019\">\u201cThings to come\u201d for 2014 from Media Post <\/a>, the twist is that this is about Programmatic marketing in 2014.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Some of us are members of the Digital Analytics Associations and get some pretty interesting, albeit geeky stuff. \u00a0I love <a href=\"http:\/\/community.digitalanalyticsassociation.org\/blogsmain\/blogviewer\/?BlogKey=04e6596a-9edc-4c1c-80ee-8ff4ea9ad75d)\">this one,\u00a0 on Lead Forensics<\/a>. \u00a0Based on IP addresses, it can tell you which \u201ccompanies\u201d visited your web site. I like this article because it was an actual user.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Yes, its that time of year\u2026 Super Bowl Season, well, more precisely, Super Bowl <strong>Ad<\/strong> Season. Here is <a href=\"http:\/\/adage.com\/article\/special-report-super-bowl\/super-bowl-ad-chart-buying-super-bowl-2014\/244024\/#!\">Ad Age\u2019s first peek at Super Bowl advertisers<\/a>\u2026 the roster is still evolving though.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">I started with a look forward, so I\u2019ll close with a review of the holiday ads. <a href=\"http:\/\/adage.com\/article\/news\/10-effective-holiday-ads\/245757\/\">A<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/adage.com\/article\/news\/10-effective-holiday-ads\/245757\/\">d Age looked at the 2013 holiday ads <\/a>and determined the top 10. The top spot went to Walmart, with an ad that focused on Philanthropy. You can see the ads\/videos in the article as well.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As we move through the year, we&#8217;ll point to other marketing pieces.
