Background:<\/strong>
\nThe Medical College of Wisconsin is one of only a handful of Medical Colleges in the United States. To make them\u00a0even more exclusive, they have only 204 openings available for 1st year students. Without any recruitment efforts,\u00a0they receive 7000 applications a year, so they have no trouble with achieving 100% enrollment. Though it is rarely\u00a0necessary to recruit medical students, they do compete with the other medical colleges for the best and the brightest.<\/p>\n

The Challenge:<\/strong>
\nStarting with 7000 applications, they narrow the candidates\u00a0to 650. Those 650 are brought on campus for an interview.\u00a0Each year, the Medical College of Wisconsin wants to make\u00a0a positive impression on these top tier candidates,\u00a0regardless of acceptance or rejection. The College was\u00a0getting tired of the shirts, caps, and tote bags. They wanted\u00a0something day-to-day useful that would still make the\u00a0students remember them.<\/p>\n

The Solution:<\/strong>
\nA flash drive was distributed hand-to-hand after every individual\u00a0interview. The college preloaded each with a catalog\u00a0providing an overview of the school. They chose 1GB of\u00a0space because they wanted the drive to have a very useful\u00a0capacity.<\/p>\n

Any remaining drives were distributed at an annual Pre-Med\u00a0Advisors Conference. They hand them out directly to the\u00a0Pre-Med Advisors because they have tremendous influence\u00a0over the student\u2019s decisions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
