Use promotional items to bring some holiday cheer to the office

The holidays are approaching, and that means busy schedules filled with festive parties, time spent with the family and wild days of shopping like Black Friday. A whirlwind calendar of events and to-dos could cause many people to forget to stop and say thank you. Besides family and friends, regular customers and staff members make a difference in our lives each year.

However, if you get a break from all of the festivities, you can easily show your gratitude to your employees or patrons with promotional products.

Festive promotions
Boost employee morale and let staff members know they’re valued by giving away branded apparel or promotional pens. Giving out branded corporate gifts or useful items like promotional portable chargers for their phones or tablets is a great and inexpensive but effective way to thank employees for another year of their hard work.

The holidays are a great time to use branded items to say thank you.Give thanks for your customers and employees with promotional products.

Morale boost
According to Entrepreneur, if employers want to keep spirits high they must give their staff a feeling that they’re doing more than just a job. Supervisors can do this by recognizing individual and team achievements that took place earlier in the year by throwing a party for the goals met and giving out promotional corporate gifts to those employees.

Doing this will make employees feel valued for their efforts and will not only build morale around the company but also strengthen the bonds of your work team.

Volunteer your time
Parties aren’t the only inexpensive option to show staff members your gratitude. You could also volunteer your services. While the holiday season brightens a lot of people’s moods, the thought of snow and ice doesn’t. Some supervisors take it upon themselves to clean the snow and scrape the ice off of their employees’ cars during winter to say thanks, according to ABC News.

However, if you and the rest of your C-suite team don’t want to venture out into the cold, then providing staff members with branded ice scrapers is a great and novel way to show appreciation. Giving employees a gift they can actually put to use and saving them from buying their own later can be a good perk.

Changing up the presents you give staff every year and tailoring those gifts to their needs demonstrates a high level of care and investment in employees.  It beats handing out turkeys every single year!

Saying thanks
If you’re a retailer, restaurant or other business that works with the public, then sending promotional corporate gifts with your logo on it, along with a holiday-themed thank you letter, is a wonderful way to say thanks to your best customers. According to Forbes, mailing out a holiday letter with a gift is not only a nice way to show your gratitude, it’s also a tactful approach to retain your customer base.

Patrons will be happy you recognized them as good customers and showed you value their business. Small tokens like branded mugs, tumblers or calendars for the coming year can go a long way in keeping your support base happy and returning to your store.

When coming up with a promotional gift idea, think of a particular item your patrons could use that’s also related to your business. Restaurants that deliver food can give away branded drinkware while retailers could send out branded bags to shoppers for future use in their stores.

Whatever type of promotional gift you decide to give, it will be a great gesture of goodwill to your customers and employees, and remind them that they also play an important role in your success.
