The Logoed Pen Is Mightier Than…
The logoed pen is one of the most popular promotional items in the market. It is one of those rare items that can virtually span the scope of promotional products marketing opportunities from the mass distribution of inexpensive items all the way up to a special gift to thank the CEO of a multi-million dollar client. Whether you’re handing them out at a tradeshows to thousands of people or presenting one to the employee of the year, the pen is a great choice.
Which branded pens makes sense for you?
When you are thinking about trade shows, or even keeping a stock of branded pens around the company for casual use, one of our favorite lineups come from BIC. The BIC Round Stic is the quintessential promo pen, seemingly ubiquitous at trade shows and large companies. The pen is reliable and very inexpensive. One of the fun things about the BIC Round is the mix and match color options with the cap and body. No doubt you’ll be able to find a unique combination that matches your company colors. Once the artwork/proof is approved, BIC can turn an order around in 3 days… great for the quick jobs.
So, some people are not fans of capped pens, so a nice alternative to the BIC Round is the BIC Clic. Like it’s sibling, the Clic comes in mix-and-match color options, has good quality tip options. These two low-cost logo pen options from BIC are great economical items.
To step it up a level, we like the Scripto Tech Dual pen and stylus or the Silicone Grip Color Stylus. They are great pens for around the office. They have a bit of heft to feel good in your hand, write well on paper and on tablets. With a company logo, these pens can be a great part of an overall office branding project. While a bit more costly than the BICs, there are some trade show opportunities where these can make sense as a giveaway. Take a look at these as part of the low to mid-range options.
When you are looking for a gift to recognize employees or thank customers, one of our favorite lines come from Bettoni. With both twist and cap pen styles, Bettoni pens are very substantive, have a great feel when writing and look very classy. These are not every-day hand out pens, they’re price points are still very reasonable, especially for the quality. One capped version is the Carbon Fiber Barrel Stylus and for a twist version of the laser engrave pen consider the Chrome World Map Twist Stylus Pen. You can’t go wrong with either pen.
For really high-end branded pens, contact an account executive. Once we start getting to the high end, preference, situations, and objectives become a big driver of which brand and models you go with.
