Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year (CNY) also known as the Spring Festival is a special time for China. The celebration spans weeks and often involves many days of travel as people head from their factory jobs to their hometowns.

While this is a great cultural event each year in China, it does cause issues in business generally and manufacturing specifically. For two weeks virtually all factories are closed down, and often run on reduced staff for several days before and after the CNY celebration.

For our customers, this means that from February 9th through the 28th, flash drive and mobile charger orders are either fulfilled from a limited local supply (at a higher rate) or have to wait until about the 2nd week of March for delivery. In light of CNY, our normal 5-7 days for production will be 2-3 weeks with earliest delivery the 2nd week of March.
